Dog Days: Flip It Over

Currently finished: Episode 10

This has come really close to dropping off the bottom of my watching list, because the whole this is just...dumb. However, at the end of episode 6, the story took somewhat of a sharp turn in terms of tone that went from light to somewhat heavy. In the next 4 episodes, it literally flipped everything upside down that went from stupidly happy to seriously dark.

While this shift is interesting, I think this is merely a cheap trick for simple shock value. Sure it provided some extra excitement for about 4 episodes, but now the explosion is over and dusts have settled, I realized that even though the tone of the story has changed significantly, they didn't really up the quality of the story at all. It still feels foolish and corny.
