Nowadays, it seems that most story writers believe that the audiences would be more satisfied with turning the story with unrealistic deus ex machina then letting the tragedy go to the end. And it's especially bad when the tragedy gets reversed after all personnel had finished dealing with the effect of the tragedy. Because at that point, turning the tragedy around doesn't contribute the plot any more, it's merely trying to please the audiences. In my opinion, that's the last thing a story write should do.
