Summary: More weird futuristic people fighting with some weird super power, along with more nonsense talk, exciting as hell though.
First impression score: 88 - Still nonsense, still amusing
Personal comments: During the first season, my opinion for this anime had taken a 180 degree turn, gone from thinking it's a stupid worthless tasteless idiotic nonsense to considering it a rather brilliantly written story filled with WTFs. Seriously though, with some effort, many could build a story/world that reasonably explains everything. It is however, in my opinion, rather difficult to write a story where all of its building blocks makes no sense what so ever yet the story as a whole is perfectly coherent. I've only seen one of such anime before, Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo (a.k.a. Girl Who Leapt through Space, NO, not Girl Who Leapt through Time, that's a completely different anime). This kind of anime is highly amusing to watch because it requires you to completely detach yourself from your present reality in order for your brain not to reject what's going on in the story. The biggest difference between this and a typical reality altering fantasy/scifi story is that the latter is still built loosely on the present reality and more importantly common sense of the world we're living in, where as the former just throws it away completely and build something on top of a void.
