[Ended] Seitokai no Ichizon: Random

One key difference between Seitokai no Ichizon and other seemingly similar animes from this season is that it presented itself to be what it really is from the beginning instead of trying to get by as something else. One of the best part of the story, in my opinion, is the dynamics between all the distinctively different characters. On top of that, it managed to stay creative with tons of references to the otaku and pop culture of Japan. Then it tags on that little back story in the last episode for some added sentimental value.

Final scoreboard:

Drama: 80 (Up and down)
Comedy: 90 (If you get it, it's hilarious)
Action: N/A
Art/Animation: 86 (Cute)
Sound/Music: 80 (Typical)
Character: 80 (Distinct)
Plot: N/A
Ending: 89 (Interesting twist)

Re-watch value: 60 (Don't really need to, unless you don't get certain part of their reference)

Overall: 88 - Pretty good for this genre

Recommendation: If you liked Lucky Star, you'd probably like this. But you really need to come equipped with lots of Japanese otaku and pop culture knowledge in order to understand many of the jokes. I guess it could be a good test of your otaku-ness XD
